Now and then I work for Palis, the parking company. Palis builds high-tech automatic parking garages.

For this system I mounted the catches for the lift counterweight … in 50m height inside the 40×80cm shafts for the weights … that was quite exciting.

It’s fascinating how unknown a company can be, even when it built well known stuff. ther was even a documentary on that on Discovery Channel:

The Car Towers at the VW Autostadt in Wolfsburg are running since 2000. They now even have a glas cabin you can ride for 8€ and get handled like a car.
